ESU Scotland offers a range of professional training courses in public
speaking, presentation skills, negotiation techniques and interview
skills. Training for groups and individuals can be provided at the
company’s premises or at the ESU’s Learning Centre
in Meadowbank, Edinburgh.
After more than 50 years’ involvement in this area, the ESU
has developed an outstanding reputation for excellence and expertise.
The Director, John Duncan, and the Speech Officer, Rob Marrs, are both
former champion student debaters; while our network of contacts and
volunteers includes many of the most compelling and persuasive public
speakers in Scotland.
We know that every client has very individual needs. Whatever the
situation, we will sit down with you to make sure that we have fully
understood your requirements; and will then provide a tailored product
to meet your needs. The training we agree with you may include elements
of some or all of the modules described below, and additional modules
can be prepared for to suit your requirements.
We understand the importance of flexibility and therefore the timetable
and duration of the course are arranged to suit you or your company. If
you live outside Edinburgh we can also assist you with finding
accommodation.
As an educational charity our charges are kept deliberately low and
their basis transparent.
