The ESU Scotland Creative Writing Group was launched in September 2007.
It is open to all adults with an interest in developing their creative
writing skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
Each meeting members write short pieces on a particular theme and
receive critical feedback from the group. Pieces can be worked up later
outside the meetings. Members of the group can, if they wish, take
turns to plan and lead a session. We hope that by following this
pattern members of the group will be able to pool ideas and encourage
each other to avoid “writers’ block”!
There will also be opportunities to review final pieces.
The group meets at the ESU Gallery from 2.00-4.00 pm on the first
Thursday of every month. Sessions will also take place occasionally at
other venues.
If you are interested in joining this group or would like further
details, please contact Suzanne Ensom at the office.
